Stanford Solar Car Project

I was one of the original members of the Stanford Solar Car Project, an organization that builds and races cars powered exclusively by sunlight. I was involved with the project in both my undergrad and grad years at Stanford (that's a bit long ago, but I include this work because it was so formative, and so fun).

Not surprisingly, I took on many roles over the years, the largest being the development of a software package to simulate car operation that was used in both the design and racing phases. There's a link to a presentation on this work below. I also took on management and fundraising roles and (this was the best part) participated in races and rallies all over the US and the world.

Three generations of cars are shown above and can be clicked for larger images.
